The first which must be mentioned is prayer for workers.
Jesus' own words show us this: "the harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest!" (Matt 9:37-38). Our first task is to get the workers whom the Lord desires for the various tasks in His vineyard. Let us particularly notice that this should be done by means of prayer.
According to the words of Jesus, believers not only have the right, but it is also their duty to have a part in pointing out who are to become pastors (or leaders or workers) and who are not. This is work, however, which can be done only on our knees.
Believing friends, let us take up this work!!

We sometimes use the term 'savior complex' to describe an unhealthy syndrome of obsession over curing others' problems. The true savior, however seemed remarkably free of such a complex. He had no compulsion to convert the entire world in his lifetime or to cure people who were not ready to be cured.
